Two of the 50 people to know in the Himalayas (CN Traveller, 2019), Hussain brothers believed in changing the outlook with which the world looks at Kargil and have been quite successful in achieving it. Adopting the border village of Hunderman at the Indian border, they undertook the restoration work independently and conduct regular heritage walks, cultural events and the like to promote tourism in Kargil. Their company, Roots Ladakh, is also associated with eco-tourism in the region and take on the trails less walked on.
Looking at Inkhorn’s young and energetic team who happen to meet the twins while vacationing in the Himalayas, the problem of boredom was discussed which was the story of their website and other communication collaterals. Since the target group happens to be youngsters, the whole adaption was required to be translated into the website UI. The ideation was all about young, energetic willing to dream and keep exploring.
