The only premium property in the city of Kargil, Hotel the Kargil is a top-notch and most luxurious hotel in the heart of the Himalayas, Ladakh. The hotel aims to provide high-quality service with world-class facilities to its guests in one of the remotest and naturally exquisite places in India. Home to many Bollywood actors and producers while shooting in the region, the hotel has been the favourite of travellers and wanderers alike. Inkhorn, social media agency Delhi NCR, has been working with the hotel since its inception is 2017 and continue to help strategize the social media space, travel trade fairs, events and exhibitions and the like.
The brand identity was developed in relation to the proactive and predictive analysis of the demography, target audience, and the positioning of the business which was later re-purposed to platforms such as webspace, social media and other areas where the presence of the hotel was marked. We also developed social media campaigns for the hotel and ‘Chalo Kargil’ and ‘Milen Humse Bhi’ were strategized to not just promote the hotel but to create awareness about the region and to explore the potential it holds as a travel destination in India. The campaign, being appreciated across platforms both online and on-ground, was further extended and the major travel events in 2018 and 2019 were developed and designed as an extension to the communication strategy. It continues to be a major aspect of their communication strategy as it forms the core of what the hotel stands for. The latest edition is the packaging design for Apricots under hotel’s brand name.
Inkhorn continue to be their social media agency Delhi NCR, branding partner and media consultants. The association has been since inception of the hotel and it has allowed us to understand the hospitality industry closely, giving us an opportunity to build brands from scratch.
